"Sitting on the Porch" is the theme for this year's July 4th Festivities. The day will start with a pancake breakfast sponsored by the DeWitt Noon Lions Club from 7:00-10:00 a.m. at the DeWitt Community Center. The parade will begin at 10:00 at the Fairgrounds and usually lasts over an hour. After the parade the DeWitt Nite Lions will be grilling pork chop sandwiches in Lincoln Park. The fireworks will take place at dusk in Grand Mound.
